Paysafe, the industry-leading global provider of groundbreaking new payment solutions that bring simple and secure online payment options to online shoppers, was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in the British Dependency of Isle of Man. The case is for its office in Sofia, Bulgaria, designed by the Cache atelier team. The Paysafe Sofia office, is an office space designed for the development team. The nine-meter high interior space was never intended to be used as an office space, so it was certainly a huge challenge to create a comfortable, pleasant and functional office environment in such a high space. The nine-meter-high space is partially mezzanine, and the overall plan layout is planned with an open concept. Such an open space must create a comfortable acoustic effect, so the design team used a large number of movable acoustic partitions to create flexibility, while introducing a mix of negotiation and collaboration areas, as well as the classic conference room layout.
Exposed equipment ducts and a new stair mezzanine are united in the building's dark, industrial feel. Beautiful furniture and colorful carpets are used to shape the work areas and the rich and diverse collaboration areas. Warm and soft fabric furniture and heavy curtains bring a warm and comfortable feeling to the large and open space. combination between a calm working environment and 600 workstations, keeping the company's strengths intact while taking into account that it is the second largest company in the world, handling online payments, and also away from boring open space offices.
We used different products/services - Skrill, Netteler, PaySafeCard - and combined their color profiles to set up colorful accents in three different floor spaces. We decided to use a more interesting and fun design in the conference room to stimulate the creativity of the team. The concept we used was to dedicate each of the 19 meeting rooms to a different country with different furniture, lighting and décor. As a result, the space has 19 completely different meeting rooms and it is interesting to see how employees can meet in "America", "Japan" or "England". This interesting mixture together with the reception area, training and interview rooms and the recreation room with a calm, relaxed, family atmosphere creates a different space to visit and work. The office space is a unique example of Bulgaria, it is the largest and complemented with real top quality furniture and materials. The company invested in a comfortable office and presents different types of spaces to promote creativity and teamwork.
